Stop me before i paint again!

One of the lovely painters – Cintha……..with a paint brush full of purple!

Cintha is an organizational guru who helped me get organized in the house and studio!  She is also a painter, faux finisher, muralist and decorator.  Cintha is a woman of many talents.  I’m all about energy so i’m very happy that folks that i know and like are painting the Magic Cottage. They are painting their “happy little vibes” into the cottage!

It’s so hot here that i can barely think……..we don’t have air conditioning or anything and the sudden change in weather is a bit of a shock to the system – poofy feet and fingers :).  I feel sorry for older folks who have difficulty with the heat.  Maybe tonite Mr. G and i will be able to go kayaking at the beach – that should be fun and cooling!

Sorry i don’t have to many artsy things to talk about today….hopefully next week i will……i leave you with some cool links:

Coffee can lantern tutorial on Design Sponge – these would look pretty magical hanging from backyard trees

Lark Crafts blog – i didn’t even know the folks from Lark books had a blog…….they have such cool crafts on there!

Craft Corps: Celebrating the Creative Community One story at a Time – i’m reading this book by Vickie Howell – it’s full of stories from your favourite crafters – Mark Montano, Kathy Cano-Murillo – Crafty Chica, Margot Potter, Mary Engelbreit, Cathie Filian, Carol Duvall, Amy Butler, Mark Montano and more!  The crafters are very honest about how they grew their crafting business and how they are dealing with the changing times.

These links came from the Make and Do Craft Column – it’s a Canadian Living magazine blog i check out every day!

Artsyville blog – please check out Aimee’s lovely blog….i just adore Aimee!  On the lefthand sidebar Aimee has some amazing tutorials that will absolutely delight you and put a smile on your face!

Have a wonderfully juicy weekend!

Love, Violette xo

    No AC ??? …Like, none?
(Oh, no……Not in dear old 97′ summer heat of S.C., Honey!)
Please tell me you have fans running or you’re thinking of purchasing a window unit…
Bless your heart, you were too overheated to title your post!
