Art Journal Jam Video

Our Art journal Jam yesterday was a big success!  We had tons of fun! Watch this short video clip my friend Susan captured on her i-phone……..sorry about the quality being poor but at least it gives you a bit of an idea of how it was.

About 10 or so people came to have fun art journaling and share their pages and ideas with each other!  A mom came with her two young daughters and will hopefully be coming out next month (yes – i am hoping to make this a monthly event) to jam with us!

It was great to catch up with everyone in the lovely Good Day Sunshine Cafe!  Thanks to the owners for hosting this noisy fun event!

If you haven’t already entered my Holly Jolly December giveaway please go here – i draw 2 lucky winners on Friday!

Wow — it looks like you had a great success! What a wonderful community building activity, and how fortunate your community is that you were willing put yourself “out there” to bring it in to being.

Thank you Diana! I think if you would like something and it doesn’t already exist then it’s up to you to create it! Of course it takes some work but it often is worth it

Doesn’t this look like fun. Sure wish I lived closer. Reminds me of a place we have here that combo coffee shop and ceramic painting place. They have all uniquely painted big cups & saucers. I took photos when there and wanted to blog about it but haven’t yet…may be my inspiration here. Hubby bought me a gift certificate to the place last year. All the prices include the piece, paint & supplies, and firing. I just played and splatter painted some pieces to hold my paint brushes and other various supplies. The owner walked through and asked me if I ever taught classes (LOL)…I might someday…very relaxing! I took along my splattered up warner brothers character embroidered apron and just had a blast! I need to go back again some day soon! Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year my dear talented friend! Maybe next time I go I’ll wear 2 different socks in honor of sharing this with you?

      Yes . . . I can only repeat “I wish . . . . ” I’m so happy to see it went so well.
