Wishing you and your family a very happy, healthy and abundant 2013! Thank you for coming to my blog and visiting with me and being a part of my world! I really do appreciate you all so much!
Here is a picture Mr. G took of a snow laden tree in Kamloops a couple of days ago. We visited his daughter and her husband and were treated to a white Christmas (well – a couple of days after Christmas).
A snow laden bauble in front of Mr. G’s daughter’s home – isn’t it lovely?
Yet another one – they are HUGE!
We were taken to a fun cafe in Kamloops called The Art we Are . it’s a lovely place for Creatives to hang out, have a cup of Joe or tea, eat some yummy healthy food and enjoy the art that is for sale. They even have gluten free fare which is awesome! One of the fun features that I’m sure is overlooked by many patrons are the secret notes stuffed into the cracks in the brick wall. The place is full of serendipitous whimsy!
I took the liberty of keeping a couple of secret notes and then depositing a few of my own. Who knows – my little inspirational messages might just be what the next curious patron needs in their life. One of the notes i picked was about a childhood memory of eating green jelly beans. The writer wondered if the childhood friend now grown up still likes green jelly beans.
Mr. G snapped this photo of the Kamloops (almost) full moon. The moon was huge that night.
Back home now – Mr. G just went out and snapped this photo – it’s snowing here in the White Rock/Surrey area. We are getting a belated white Christmas.
We had a lovely Christmas and Christmas eve spent with family! Christmas is especially wonderful when there are little ones around!
I hope you also had a wonderful Holiday!
Love, Violette xo
