A Plethora of Inspirational Cartoons!

Happy Wednesday!

As you can see I have past my 60th birthday and am not quite finished my cartoons – so I’ve given myself a reprieve until Friday – I decided to postpone turning 60 until then Smile. So over the weekend i was scrambling to get a few extra cartoons in…….here are a few of them…..

“Even a snail will eventually reach its destination – Gail Tsukiyama”.  I liked the idea of a cute snail pulling a tiny letter!

While mentoring young teen Meg (in art) i was mentioning that i needed some new quotes to illustrate. She suggested Maya Angelou – so i looked up her quotes and this one resonated with me. “If you are always trying to be Normal you will never know how amazing you can be!”

I have embraced the Law of Attraction principles for many years now and wanted to illustrate a faucet. So i searched Abraham Hicks quotes to find one that fit the bill! “Appreciation is the purest vibration on the planet today”

William James the fabulous philosopher and psychologist came up with this quote – I’ve always admired him so was thrilled when this quote came across my desk! “Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.”

My friend Susi (teen coach) thought i should illustrate this quote.  I struggled with it for a while – not unlike the butterfly trying to emerge from the cocoon Smile but finally decided upon this image. “How does one become a butterfly? You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar. – Trina Paulus”

Always a fan of Rumi – this quote really spoke to me “The Door is wide Open, don’t go back to sleep. – Rumi”  This quote reminded me of an astrologer friend’s favourite saying “Once you get on the Universal flypaper you can’t get off”.  It’s so true – once you have the knowledge if you try to deny it and go to sleep you’ll experience much discomfort – i have tried it and ended up getting back on the path.

Marcus Aurelius has gifted us with many fine sayings – here is one of them “The Soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts” I felt a rainbow would be a great way to illustrate a rather abstract concept.
