Works in Progress

Good Morning everyone!

I just wanted to share with you a few of the illustrations I have been working on.  I have no idea what they will be used for…… journal pages, cartoons, future projects, sketches for future projects?

Here’s a tribal face and a jellyfish.  Supplies used: Copic Markers, micron pens, gel pens, paint pens and pencil crayons. I had bought some new art supplies and wanted to test them out.

I was inspired by the little creatures Teesha Moore has been creating in her journals and so decided to make a few of my own. I can’t tell you how much fun i’ve been having!  I was sitting and watching TV drawing away!  Fun!

This will be the last reminder to enter to win a spot in LIFE BOOK 2015!  You will be able to enter over 20 times on the different artist’s Blogs.

Good Luck everyone!

Love, Violette xo

Works in Progress

Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you have a fun weekend coming up?

This is what I am working on right now for a client – some illustrations for her website. I had fun drawing this little gnome guy…….

Here are the sketches/drawings i start out with before colouring them in digitally.

I’m not usually cranked about drawing technical images like computers and such but being able to add a cute whimsical fairy made it fun!

When all of the drawings are complete and added to the clients website I’ll give you the link so you can check it out!

Enjoy your weekend!  I’m off to make some Saint Patrick’s Day Crafts with my grandsons Smile. I spent a little time on Pinterest getting some St. Paddy’s day inspiration!

Oh – stay tuned – on Monday I will be having a fun giveaway!
